Sweetheart Finance runs on people, not budgets. We started this because too many women learn about money too late, often after the damage is already done. Every contributor, writer, and ambassador who joins us is part of bridging that gap a little faster. If any part of this resonates, there's a place for you here.
A quick note before you dive in: Sweetheart Finance is an independent educational initiative, not a registered nonprofit organization. That means no paid positions and no tax-deductible donations, but it also means every role here is real work that shapes a growing community, not a formality.
Sweetheart Finance runs across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, our website, our newsletter, & more, so we're always looking for people who want to build alongside us.
Platform Lead (pick your platform), Submission Editor, Content Writer, Design & Visuals.
Team Lead and Operations Support, working directly with our founder to help manage day-to-day initiatives.
These leadership roles are temporary for now, since our structure adapts as the team grows, but they're real, active positions we need filled today.
Every role here, no matter how big or small, helps move concrete financial education into the hands of women who never had it growing up. Roles are flexible and built around your schedule, so whether you have two hours a week or twenty, there's a way to contribute.
If a position interests you, email us at sweetheartfinancecontact@gmail.com and we'll send over more background on the role. From there, we'll schedule a quick interview and/or have you fill out a short form, depending on the position, so we can find the right fit.
Looking to empower women financially but not sure how a project like this fits into an already-packed calendar? Volunteering is a flexible way to get involved in day-to-day work, things like writing captions, sorting through submissions, or putting together graphics, that keeps real financial education reaching the women who need it.
Send us a quick note at sweetheartfinancecontact@gmail.com telling us a little about yourself and what you're interested in, and we'll reach out with next steps.
Got something that fits the Sweetheart Finance voice? We're always looking for writing to feature on our Substack and other platforms, including:
Submissions are reviewed by our small editorial team. If your piece is a fit, we'll feature it on our Substack or website with full credit to you. Send your piece along with a little background about yourself to sweetheartfinancecontact@gmail.com, and our team will reach out to you.
Every woman has a money story: messy, honest, and often left unspoken. No matter your stage in life, we want to hear yours, whether it's a moment of financial insight or a secret you've never shared. It could be the first time you asked for a raise, a money mistake from when you were nineteen that still makes you cringe, or something your mother only revealed when it was almost too late. It doesn't need to be elaborate—just authentically yours.
When you're ready, you can transform that experience into a learning opportunity for others. Our submission process is anonymous and organized, turning your story into a case study that other women can truly learn from.
If you're a student who wants to bring financial literacy to your school, this is for you. Ambassadors help spread the word, host small discussions, or simply make sure Sweetheart Finance reaches people who need it.
All ambassador roles must be confirmed by email before getting started. Once approved, we'll provide resources to help you succeed, things like starter guides, talking points, and social templates, and ambassadors are expected to meet a few basic requirements to maintain the role (we'll walk you through these once you reach out).
There's no pay involved; this is a community-building role, not a job. What you get instead is real experience, a growing network, and the chance to say you helped build something from the ground up.
Getting involved doesn't always mean doing the work: sometimes it's just about showing up. Subscribe to our Substack for stories, guides, and updates, with no spam, no sales pitches; just a supportive space for women to learn, share, and grow together through honest money conversations.
We're open to collaborating with other women-led platforms, financial educators, advisors, and student organizations who share our mission. If you're interested in a guest post, a joint event, or simply cross-promoting each other's work, please do not hesitate to reach out.
All partnerships are confirmed by email first, so we can make sure expectations and requirements are clear on both sides before anything moves forward. We're early-stage, so collaborations right now tend to be informal, things like co-written content or shared resources, rather than formal sponsorships. We are, however, building toward more as the community grows.
We're working on our first writing contest, designed to give women a space to write honestly about money, the moments of doubt, clarity, mistakes, and growth that shaped how they see their finances. Think real essays, not polished theory. Details are still in the works. Subscribe or follow along so you don't miss the announcement!
Down the road, we'd love to open a second contest for more creative formats, like short fiction or poetry inspired by real financial experiences. This one's further out and still just an idea taking shape, but if you're a writer who's drawn to the silences people keep around money, keep this on your radar.
This platform exists for you, so we want your input. What topics are missing? What would actually help? This isn't a one-time survey, you can reach out anytime through our contact page, and your input truly does shape what we build next.
Sweetheart Finance is an independent, youth-led educational initiative and is not a registered nonprofit organization. Contributor and volunteer roles are unpaid and informal; they do not constitute employment. If you're hoping to count your time here toward school-required service hours, please check with your school counselor first, as eligibility varies by institution.
